Join Nuestra Voz Our Community! “Shared power, the key to a stronger community” Nuestra Voz, Our Community is a Boys and Girls Club of Whittier program that offers parents/guardians/caregivers to school aged children in the Greater Whittier Community informal classes focused on technology literacy, cultural experiences and community building. Participants will participate in a monthly book club, visit college campuses, take special trips to museums/theaters and other social experiences. Additionally, adult learners are encouraged to participate in a special project that involves technology and a showcase afterwards. The intention behind these projects is to provide a space where individuals can create and share their stories, knowledge, experiences, interests, and passions. These adults can express themselves creatively through different digital initiatives and then have the opportunity to share it with their friends and family and even the wider community.
